Arc Raiders Reduced To Rubble Quest Guide

Most Arc Raiders quests send you to the surface to scout areas, collect materials, or track down specific intel. Reduced to Rubble follows the same pattern, but starts with something unusually simple: you’re asked to take a photo. It sounds effortless—though Arc Raiders rarely makes anything truly easy.

You don’t need to extract to finish Reduced to Rubble, so consider bringing a free loadout, especially if the Blue Gate map is still unfamiliar. ARC activity is noticeably high here, and even a quiet run can spiral fast. Keeping your important gear safe is worth the extra caution.

Where to take a photo of the collapsed highway

The collapsed highway is located in the southern section of the Blue Gate map. This region is typically calm, but you may encounter other raiders completing the same objective. If possible, give them space and avoid unnecessary fights.

Take the required photo within the Highway Collapse POI.

Once you reach Highway Collapse, explore the area to trigger the photo prompt. There are several valid locations—some on the ground, others up on the broken highway. You’ll know you’re in the right spot when a yellow “Take Photo” prompt appears on your screen.

After snapping the photo, your next objective is to reach the Broken Earth POI. To get there, move northeast through the Olive Grove—an area with significantly more raider and ARC presence. Keep alert and avoid unnecessary firefights when possible.

Where to investigate the unknown ARC machines in Broken Earth

Upon reaching Broken Earth, you’ll need to follow a trail of destruction until the objective marker directs you toward a cluster of unknown ARC machinery. Continue northeast toward the map point shown below.

This is the location where you’ll investigate the ARC machines.

Here you’ll find a massive destroyed ARC structure. Approach its lower section and interact with it to complete the required investigation. Doing so will finish the Reduced to Rubble quest.

With Reduced to Rubble complete, you’re free to keep looting or extract when ready. If it’s still active, the Overlook Airshaft extraction point is usually reliable. Once back in Speranza, turn in the quest and push forward—your journey through Arc Raiders is only just beginning.
