Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault – Where to Find the Kalina Hidden Treasure

Early in Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, Eris gives you a quest to uncover a hidden treasure inside Kalina, the first dungeon available in the game. While the exact dungeon layout depends on RNG, the treasure itself always appears in the same type of room, making it much easier to locate once you know what to look for.

Completing this objective rewards you with the blueprint for The Vow, a powerful large sword that encourages an aggressive playstyle.

Where to Find the Hidden Treasure in Kalina

To locate the hidden treasure, you’ll need to encounter a Blacksmith room during a run in Kalina. This room is identified by a hammer icon on the dungeon map and typically appears around the midpoint of a run.

Once inside the Blacksmith room, immediately head to the right side. A concealed path is hidden behind a rock formation. Follow this passage and you’ll find a green portal that leads to a trap-filled challenge area.

This obstacle course features two types of traps: bear traps and wind traps. Bear traps can be rolled through safely, and since dodge rolling has no meaningful cooldown, you can move through them quickly without much risk.

Wind traps require slightly more patience. Watch for pauses in the gusts and move forward during the brief windows when the wind stops. Clear the course, and at the end of the room you’ll obtain the blueprint for The Vow.

The Vow Large Sword

The Vow is a large sword with a distinctive passive ability that sets it apart from other weapons. Instead of consuming sharpness on each attack, the weapon steadily loses 2% sharpness per second while equipped.

You can unlock The Vow for 4,000 Coins and 4 Sun Eater materials. Because sharpness drains over time rather than per hit, the weapon strongly rewards aggressive, fast-paced combat. If you prefer staying on the offensive and maximizing damage output, The Vow is a significant upgrade early in the game.
