Arc Raiders After Rain Comes Quest Guide

Arc Raiders occasionally sends you topside to fix something and expects you to bring your own items to do so. One such quest is After Rain Comes, which tasks you with repairing some solar panels in Buried City. The last thing you'll want to do is show up to fix them and not have what you need.

You will need 2 Batteries and 5 Wires to complete After Rain Comes. Place these items in safe pockets if possible—losing them to a fall, ARC ambush, or other raiders would be frustrating.

Where to find Batteries and Wires

Batteries and Wires can appear almost anywhere, but they’re especially common in Technological or Electrical POIs across all maps. Unless you’ve been selling everything, you’ll likely already have plenty in your stash.

You can also recycle electrical items to obtain these materials—for example, a Power Cable can give you Wires, and an Industrial Battery can give you Batteries.

If you’re short on resources, the easiest option is to purchase them directly from Celeste in Speranza. She sells up to 10 Batteries and 10 Wires per day.

Where to find and repair the solar panels in Buried City

The solar panels are located outside the Grandioso Apartments on the west side of Buried City. This area sees a lot of foot traffic because the apartments have great loot, so keep an eye out for raiders above you—your repair work happens on the ground level.

Look for a yellow electrical box beneath one of the panels. Interact with it and use your Batteries and Wires to repair it. Once complete, the quest will finish immediately.

After fixing the panels, you can leave whenever you’d like—you don’t have to extract, but it’s usually the safer choice. The nearest extraction point is the Western Station just northeast of the repair site.
