Fortnite Added A Pile Of Absurd New Simpsons Guns This Week

Fortnite's Simpsons season, which recently transformed Battle Royale with a brand-new Springfield-inspired island, has now received a fresh batch of cartoon-style weapons in this week’s update. Players can now find Bart’s Slingshot—an explosive tool that leaves behind a poisonous gas cloud, Moe’s 5 Gun—a hybrid weapon combining five firearms in one, and the Deodorant Applicator—a mid-range laser device.

When the Simpsons season first launched, fans immediately noticed the absence of Simpsons-themed weaponry. Healing items based on the show, like Krusty Burgers and Super Squishees, were abundant, but the arsenal consisted mostly of standard Fortnite guns aside from the debut of the Mr. Blasty revolver.

Week 2 changed that dramatically. Instead of just one themed weapon, players now have four, including the standout Moe’s 5 Gun. This weapon functions similarly to the Pump and Dump from Chapter 6 Season 2, which allowed players to dual-wield a shotgun and SMG. Bart’s Slingshot and the Deodorant Applicator both come with unlimited ammo, but each includes a durability meter that decreases as you fire—adding a layer of strategy to their use.

Epic didn’t stop with weapons, either. Springfield now experiences random Donut Storms during matches. These chaotic weather events send giant, destructive donuts crashing from the sky, flattening structures and dealing major damage to anyone caught beneath them. And considering this change hit in Week 2, there’s still plenty more content expected in the weeks ahead.
