Lego's Adorable Toy Story Train And RC Car Playset Is On Sale For The First Time

The Toy Story merch wave is ramping up ahead of Toy Story 5, and LEGO’s adorable Toy Story Celebration Train & RC Car set is on sale at several big retailers. The 206-piece kit — which launched this summer at $40 — is currently marked down to $32 at Amazon, Walmart, and Target.

This is the first notable discount we’ve spotted on the 206-piece set since launch, and demand has been high — the set briefly showed as backordered at the LEGO Store at one point, even without a discount. If you want it for the holidays, it’s probably worth snapping one up while stock lasts.

The kit includes minifigures of Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and Bo Peep, plus three themed train cars: a western-style engine for Jessie, a seesaw float for Bo Peep, and a spaceship-style car for Buzz. When assembled, the full train measures about 12.5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and roughly 4 inches tall.

Also notable is the RC car modeled after RC from the films. It seats the Woody minifigure and features a small rocket on its rear — a playful nod to the original movie’s toy-based antics.

Designed for preschool builders (ages 4+), the set includes starter bricks and a pictorial instruction booklet to make assembly easier for younger hands. LEGO also provides an interactive 3D instruction experience via the LEGO Builder app for additional help.

If you’re browsing other LEGO Pixar options, Walmart currently lists a discounted bundle that pairs the WALL-E set with the Up House for about $95 (down from $130), and LEGO has also released adult-focused Pixar builds like Luxo Jr. and a larger WALL-E model.
