CoD: Black Ops 7's Endgame Is Getting Massive Boss Fights For Season 1

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is officially live, launching with a full cooperative campaign and a new Endgame mode that acts as an open-world epilogue to the story. Activision provided GameSpot with an early tease of what Season 1 will add to Black Ops 7’s campaign endgame, including a limited-time mode and large-scale encounters spread across the Avalon map.

Although we couldn’t capture the footage, the preview showed players battling a massive robot across Avalon during an Endgame activity. Activision confirmed that players will also be able to enter the robot, suggesting you can hijack and control it to turn the tide of battle.

The zombie T-Rex boss from Black Ops 6’s Shattered Veil will also appear in Avalon as a new encounter. Based on what was shown, the strategy echoes its Zombies fight: players must boost onto its back to unleash heavy melee damage.

Only a brief look at Season 1’s campaign additions was shown, but it’s clear Endgame will continue expanding with large-scale, cooperative challenges. Accessing Endgame requires completing the campaign or joining another player who already has the mode unlocked. The Season 1 roadmap includes six multiplayer maps, three Zombies maps, new weapons, seasonal events, and additional content planned throughout the season.
