Avatar: The Last Airbender MTG Beginner Box Drops to $27 at Amazon

Avatar: The Last Airbender fans and Magic: The Gathering collectors can save big on several products from the franchise's recently released Universes Beyond MTG set. All three booster boxes are steeply discounted. The Play Booster Box, which has 30 packs with 14 cards each, is down to $135, down from $209.70. The Collector Booster Box has received an $80 discount, dropping the price to $375. You'll get 12 Collector Booster Packs with 15 cards each. Individual Collector Boosters are selling for $49, but buying in bulk lowers the cost of each pack to $31.25.

The Jumpstart Booster Box, which has 24 packs with 20 cards each, is available for $120, down from $167.76. The other notable Avatar: The Last Airbender MTG deal is the Beginner Box for $27, down from $35. The Beginner Box comes with 200 cards split into 10 decks for Jumpstart mode and everything you need to play.

The Beginner Box comes with 200 cards split across 10 decks of 20 cards each. Two of these are tutorial decks, while the other eight are regular decks for the 20-card Jumpstart mode. The box includes 20-card tutorial decks featuring Aang and Zuko, eight 20-card Avatar decks, two playmats, two spindown life counters, two learn-to-play guides, five double-sided tokens, and one rules reference booklet.

Magic: The Gathering's Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover launched November 21. Unfortunately, the Commander's Bundle and regular Bundle have been difficult to find since launch. The two Scene Boxes are also frequently sold out.

The Play Booster Box includes 30 packs with 14 cards each, so you'll get a total of 420 cards. Booster packs pull from The Last Airbender's 358-card set and The Last Airbender Eternal's 61-card Jumpstart set. Each pack contains one to four rare or higher cards, three to five uncommon cards, six to nine common cards, one land, and one traditional foil card of any rarity. Foil Borderless Mythic Rare cards are found in fewer than 1% of booster packs.

The Collector Booster Box contains 12 packs with 15 cards each, so you'll get a total of 180 cards. Of those 180 cards, 144 to 168 of them will be Traditional Foil. Each Collector Booster has 15 cards, and 12 to 14 of them are Traditional Foil. The breakdown includes five rare or higher cards, four uncommon cards, five common cards, and one full-art land. Headliner cards are found in fewer than 1% of Collector Booster packs.

The Jumpstart Booster Box comes with 24 booster packs with 20 cards each, totaling 480 cards. Each pack has all of the cards needed in a deck for Jumpstart mode, so with two packs you can go head-to-head. Just keep in mind you'll get a lot of duplicates and Land cards when purchasing a booster box of Jumpstart packs. You can shuffle the cards from multiple packs to create new Jumpstart decks.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is the third major Magic: The Gathering crossover set to launch in 2025. The Final Fantasy crossover became the best-selling MTG set, crossover or otherwise, before it even hit stores in June. Wizards of the Coast released a second wave of Final Fantasy products earlier this month. Meanwhile, multiple products from the Marvel's Spider-Man Universes Beyond set are steeply discounted at Amazon.

The current deals represent excellent value for collectors and players interested in the Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover. With significant discounts on booster boxes and the Beginner Box, now is a great time to jump into this unique MTG set or expand your existing collection.
