One of the most comprehensive horror box sets ever released is back in stock for a limited time. The Friday the 13th Collection Deluxe Edition, a massive 16-disc Blu-ray set containing all 12 films in the franchise, has been restocked at Amazon with a steep discount, dropping the price to $105 from its original $160.
Originally released in 2020, the collection was recently discontinued by Shout Factory, making remaining retail stock increasingly scarce. Previous discounts caused the set to sell out within hours, and this latest restock marks the lowest price seen in years.
The Deluxe Edition includes every entry in the series, beginning with the 1980 original and ending with the 2009 reboot. Alongside the core eight-film arc, the set also features Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X, Freddy vs. Jason, and the modern reboot, making it the only single collection to contain the entire franchise.
Each movie is housed in its own standard Blu-ray case with reversible artwork, all packaged inside a premium slipcase illustrated by Devon Whitehead. A 40-page booklet featuring essays and production photography is also included.
Several films in the set received new restorations specifically for this release. The first four movies are presented using 4K scans, while later entries such as Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X were remastered from new 2K scans. Shout Factory also restored original mono and stereo audio tracks for much of the series.
Beyond the films themselves, the collection is packed with bonus material. New and archival audio commentaries, behind-the-scenes featurettes, interviews, and making-of documentaries span two dedicated bonus discs, making this set particularly appealing to longtime fans of the franchise.
For collectors looking to expand beyond the films, additional Friday the 13th releases are also discounted. The complete 1987–1990 television series, spanning 71 episodes across 17 DVD discs, is currently available for under $30.
There is also a budget-friendly option for fans interested only in the core storyline. The Friday the 13th 8-Movie Steelbook Collection, which focuses on the original arc, has been reissued and is available at a significantly lower price point. While it includes fewer special features, it offers Blu-ray and digital versions of the films in a collectible steelbook case.
With the Deluxe Edition no longer in production, this restock may represent one of the final opportunities for collectors to secure the complete Friday the 13th film series in a single premium package.
