Steam Sale Dates for 2026: Spring Sale and Festival Schedule Announced

While it's always a good idea to save some cash toward the end of the month, Valve's quarterly Steam sales make it very tempting to dip into those rainy day funds. Fortunately, knowing when these sales will occur has gotten easier over time, as Valve no longer keeps people guessing about the dates.

The company regularly posts the dates far in advance for its sales and promotional events, and for the upcoming Steam Winter Sale 2025, this will kick off on December 18 and runs through January 5, 2026.

Beyond that, Valve has also dated several other events for the rest of the year, ranging from a fresh batch of demos being dropped in the February Next Fest to a spring sale starting in March. There'll also be promotions with specific focuses throughout the year, highlighting mystery, tower defense, and PvP games.

In January 2026, players can look forward to Detective Fest from January 12 to 19, followed by Board Game Fest from January 26 to February 2. February 2026 will feature Typing Fest from February 5 to 9, PvP Fest from February 9 to 16, Horse Fest from February 19 to 23, and Steam Next Fest February 2026 Edition from February 23 to March 2.

March 2026 brings Tower Defense Fest from March 9 to 16, Steam Spring Sale 2026 from March 19 to 26, and House and Home Fest from March 30 to April 6. April 2026 includes Hidden Object Fest from April 9 to 13 and Medieval Fest from April 20 to 27. May 2026 features Deckbuilders Fest from May 4 to 11 and Ocean Fest from May 18 to 25.

Following the Summer Sale, the next big Steam event will be the Automation Fest in July, a showcase dedicated to games about factories, assembly lines, and making boardroom deals.
