HOW TO PLAY

Starting a Level: Each level begins with a bus dropping you off. The 60-second countdown timer starts immediately, displayed as a clock in the top center of the screen. 2. Movement: - Move left and right to navigate platforms - You can change direction mid-air - Player speed is set (default: 4 units) 3. Jumping: - Press Space, Up Arrow, or W to jump - Jump height is fixed (default: -13 units vertically) - You cannot jump again until you land on a platform - Landing creates a sound effect and visual feedback 4. Brick Platforms: - Many platforms are destructible bricks - Land on bricks with sufficient downward velocity (falling speed > 11) to break them - Breaking bricks causes them to splatter into pieces - Breaking bricks gives you a slight upward bounce - Non-destructible platforms are solid and cannot be broken 5. Spikes: - Spikes are instant-death hazards - Touching spikes kills you immediately - Spikes can be positioned on floors, walls, or ceilings - Some spikes rotate or flip to different orientations - Landing on spikes from above is usually safe (depending on orientation) 6. Bus Stop (Exit): - Each level has a bus stop that serves as the exit - Reach the bus stop while standing on a platform (not in mid-air) - You must be relatively centered on the bus stop to activate it - Activating the bus stop calls the bus to pick you up - The bus arrives and takes you to the next level 7. Timer System: - 60-second countdown clock visible at the bottom center - Clock turns red when time is running low (past 180 degrees / halfway) - Game over if timer reaches 360 degrees (60 seconds elapsed) - Timer counts up continuously during gameplay 8. Level Completion: - Reach the bus stop before time runs out - The bus arrives to pick you up - After being picked up, you advance to the next level - Your progress is saved (highest level reached) 9. Beat your personal best times. - Progress Saving: Your highest level reached is saved in browser storage.
